2nd Sep 2025 | 7 nights | Riviera Travel | Riviera Rose
MS Riviera Rose is a beautifully crafted ship with cabins and amenities spread over four decks. This brand-new, state-of-the-art ship has been built in collaboration with Riviera's long-standing shipping partners to provide a first-class service to each and every guest. Whether you are relaxing on the Sun Deck, enjoying a drink with your fellow travellers in the bar or curling up for a good night's sleep in your spacious and well-furnished cabin, everything has been meticulously designed for your comfort.
The open-air Sun Deck is the place for relaxation. It's home to a refreshing splash pool and a selection of comfortable chairs and sun loungers - both in and out of the shade. Here, you're sure to find the perfect spot to crack open that book you've been meaning to read - perfectly paired with a cool glass of wine or beer from the sky bar, of course.
The Diamond Deck is home to the reception area and the social hub of the ship, the bar. Here, you and your fellow explorers can gather over drinks to discuss the highlights of the day after dinner, accompanied by the soothing tones of the ship's pianist. During the day, you can sink into its sumptuously soft armchairs and sofas with a freshly made cup of tea and watch the ever-changing landscapes and charming towns and villages drift by.
For those who are a little more energetic - or just looking to work off all those delicious meals - the fitness centre is located on the Emerald Deck.
The ship's restaurant is located on the Ruby Deck. Experience exceptional service from the friendly and attentive, English-speaking crew while you enjoy a variety of first-class cuisine. Pair seasonal menus with a glass of wine from the carefully curated wine list, including a selection of regional favourites.
The spacious cabins are spread over 3 decks, with individually controlled air-conditioning, a contemporary bathroom with a rain shower and double or twin beds.
Mature travellers with British tastes; older solos
Families and the young-at-heart looking for lots stimuli
Mainly mature Brits, but cruises are sold in the U.S and Australia, too. Most people travel as couples, although there are select sailings offering special savings for solo travellers.
There is no requirement to bring formal dress; smart/casual is acceptable for both day and evening as there is no dress code enforced. However men are requested not to wear shorts for dinner or vest tops at any time in the dining room. Men may wish to wear a jacket and tie for dinner. The Captain’s Dinner offers the opportunity, should you wish, for more special attire.
No, but a lot is, including most excursions, travel (choice of air or rail for European cruises, and departures from regional U.K. airports), all meals and self-service tea and coffee. Extra costs include beverages, gratuities, select excursion choices, spa and beauty treatments, laundry and retail shop purchases.
With shore excursions included in the price, you'll find most passengers ashore during the day. In the evening, most cruisers enjoy live music in the lounge. Each ship has a sun deck, most with a splash pool and small putting green, and you'll find passengers up there as well, weather permitting. The main lounge is the social hub of the ship before and after dinner and is where briefings about the following day's activities take place.
